Nurturing life-long learning

Believing in revitalizing the ancient values and reintegrating them to suit the changing needs of the society of modern times, Dr. K. M. Munshi founded the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in 1938.

In the eight decades of life, the Bhavan’s has helped to transcend all barriers of economic, social and cultural impediments and to establish and propagate Bharatiya Sanskriti with the spirit of ‘Vasudeva kutumbakam’.

The dream of Dr. K. M. Munshi was seen taking a genuine structure by Shri. Bhagwandas Purohit, was revived yet again with the establishment of the sixth school of Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir in June 2019 at Chinchbhuvan, Nagpur.
